Privacy Policy
This website collects minimal data. We do not require accounts, we do not sell data, and we store only one item in your browser's localStorage (your disclaimer acknowledgment). We do not control any data you share on the Solana blockchain — blockchain data is public and permanent by design.
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy applies to the Pi Network 2.0 ($PI2) website and related interfaces operated by anonymous community contributors ("we," "us," "our").
$PI2 is a community-driven meme token project. We operate without a formal company entity, without collecting user accounts, and without any obligation to identify individual operators. For legal matters, use the public contact channels linked on the website.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Data You Actively Provide
We do not require registration or accounts. We do not actively collect personal data unless you voluntarily:
- Contact us via public channels (X, Telegram, Discord)
- Submit a form or request (e.g., airdrop claim, if applicable)
- Connect a crypto wallet to this site
2.2 Data Collected Automatically
When you visit this website, limited technical data may be collected by our hosting provider and/or analytics services (if enabled):
- IP address (anonymized where possible)
- Browser type, device type, operating system
- Referring URL and approximate geographic region
- Pages viewed and time spent
This data is used to operate, secure, and improve the website only.
2.3 Browser Storage
We use localStorage (a browser feature) to remember that you have acknowledged our Disclaimer, so we do not show you the first-visit modal again. Specifically:
| Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
pi2_disclaimer_accepted |
Tracks whether you clicked "I Agree" on the first-visit disclaimer | Persistent (until you clear browser storage) |
We do not use tracking cookies, third-party ad cookies, or cross-site tracking pixels at this time. If analytics are enabled in the future, we will update this policy.
2.4 Wallet Data
If you connect a Solana wallet to this site, we do not store your private keys or seed phrases. We may receive your public wallet address, which is already public on-chain. We do not link this address to any personal identity unless you voluntarily provide that link.
3. How We Use Information
Any information we receive may be used to:
- Operate, secure, and debug the website
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or illegal activity
- Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests
- Improve content, design, and user experience
- Communicate with you if you voluntarily contact us
We do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party.
4. Blockchain Data Is Public
$PI2 operates on the Solana blockchain. Any transaction you make — including token transfers, swaps, liquidity actions, and wallet interactions — is publicly visible and permanent on the Solana public ledger.
We do not control the Solana blockchain and we cannot delete, modify, or anonymize on-chain data. If you interact with $PI2 on-chain, you accept this irrevocable public disclosure.
5. Third-Party Services
This website may link to, or load resources from, third parties, including:
- Google Fonts — for typography (Poppins, Inter, JetBrains Mono)
- DEX aggregators — Raydium, Jupiter, DEXScreener (when you click "Buy $PI2")
- Wallet providers — Phantom, Solflare (when you connect a wallet)
- Social platforms — X (Twitter), Telegram, Discord (when you click those links)
- Hosting / CDN — infrastructure providers that may process your IP address to deliver the site
Each third party has its own privacy practices. We are not responsible for their policies. Review their privacy policies directly before using their services.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. Browser localStorage persists on your device until you manually clear it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA, and similar regimes), you may have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (where legally possible)
- Object to, or restrict, processing
- Withdraw consent (for any consent-based processing)
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
To exercise these rights, contact us via the public channels on the website. Note that because we do not maintain user accounts, our ability to locate and act on any personal data about you may be limited.
You can clear localStorage anytime via your browser's settings. You can also reject or clear cookies via your browser settings.
8. Children's Privacy
This website and $PI2 are not directed to children under the age of majority in their jurisdiction (typically 18). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact us so we can remove it.
9. International Data Transfers
Because our hosting providers and third-party services operate globally, your data may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions outside of your country of residence. We rely on these providers' own safeguards (standard contractual clauses, etc.) for any such transfers.
10. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect this website from unauthorized access or tampering, but no internet transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You interact with this website and $PI2 at your own risk.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the website after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
12. Contact
For privacy-related questions, contact us through the public community channels listed in the website footer (X, Telegram, Discord). Since we operate anonymously, we cannot provide a direct postal address; we aim to respond to reasonable privacy requests within a reasonable time through these channels.
